Dr. Austin is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. In 1975 Dr. Austin moved to southern Missouri and started Crown Dental Center. Dr. Austin has been recognized for his service to public health by the Missouri Dental Association, for his role in establishing community water fluoridation. Dr. Austin's lifelong commitment to the geriatric population of Missouri has been recognized by the Missouri Division of Aging. Dr. Austin has been a dentist on staff at Lake Regional Health System for over 25 years. For 38 years, Dr. Austin has been committed to serving the Ozarks with high quality and affordable dentistry.
Dr. Strickler is Dr. B.W. Austin's daughter. She grew up at the Lake of the Ozarks and graduated from Camdenton High School. Dr. Strickler earned a B.S. in Biology from Truman State University. Next she obtained a D.D.S. at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, School of Dentistry. Dr. Strickler and her family moved back to the Lake of the Ozarks in order to join Crown Dental. Dr. Strickler is a dentist on staff at Lake Regional Health System and for nine years has been passionate about providing for the dental needs of her patients.
Dr. Austin is the youngest son of Dr. B.W. Austin. The younger Dr. Austin was born and raised in the Lake of the Ozarks area and graduated from Camdenton High School. Dr. Austin earned his B.S. in Chemistry and minor in Biology at Missouri Western State University, where he was awarded a full academic scholarship and graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Austin went on to obtain his D.M.D. at A.T. Still University - Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He also received a Certificate in Public Health with a Dental Emphasis while attending dental school. Dr. Austin and his family have returned to the Lake of the Ozarks and he has joined Crown Dental. Dr. Austin feels privileged to provide oral health care to the community where he grew up.
